This is my 1st post in the IDOL series, identifying those people whom I admire, in some way form or fashion.
First up is the incomparable Marilyn Monroe
Reasons why I admire her vary; she 1st BEYOND BEAUTIFUL; & was an individual, with her own mind, own sense of self and show determination that no matter what, she was going to be successful. 2nd she deferred from the “thin is in” movement and was considered today a size 12. Dealing with the rumors, constant pressures from the media, and battling the demons associated with Depression etc. she for a while handled it very well. But as I always say, there’s only so much a person can take.
May she rest in Peace.
