Shruti Haasan – new film



Kamal’s daughter Shruti Haasan is going to act in Tollywood movie. She was introduced as heroine in Bollywood film “Luck”. But the movie has not run as expected. In the recent interview, she said that she is planning for her future and in a wavering mind about her career. But she got a very good name as Music Director for the film she worked for her father “Unnaipol Oruvan”.

The famous Telugu super hit movie maker Prakash Rao approached Shruti Hassan with a superb script, she readily agreed to play that role. The name of film has not yet decided and sources said that Siddharth is the hero.

Selvaraghavan next film ?



Actress Andrea and Dhanush are going to act for Director Selvaraghavan's next movie "Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam". The proposal to start the picture is next week. In the mean time the direct is parting with his wife Sonia. In the year 2006 itself this movie was planned with actor Karthi and Sandhya. But for some reasons stopped as Karthi engaged in Aayirathil Oruvan with the same director. Now every thing sorted out and ready for the film "Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam".

The cinematography will be taken care by Ramji who is also already doing Aayirathil Oruvan and Yuvan may do the music. The story is about younger generation was already with Selva and he wanted to complete the film very quickly and most probably hit the screen in early next year. Best Luck to the team.

Asin after the success of Ghajini in Bollywood, she moved to Mumbai. She bought a new house in Green Acres, Andheri. The secret of her beauty is she hates sugar and she described sugar as "white poison". In her home they didn't use sugar, chocolates and artificial drinks.

The beauty lace said that she never takes allopathic medicine and she prefers Ayurvedic medicines. Asin acted with top heroes in Tamil cinema except with Superstar. Now she is concentrating in Bollywood. She is facing the Press very well and waiting for another good opportunity in her way.

Nayanthara married Prabhudeva ?




Today the talk of the town is “Prabhudeva married Nayanthara?”. It is because Nayanthara tattooed “Prabhu (P in English and the other letters in Tamil) in her wrist. So the rumor spread. Adding fuel to the fire, a Telugu channel also flashed that Prabhudeva married Nayanthara.

But sources close to actress denied the marriage. Prabhudeva is a married man and having three children. Prabhudeva and Nayanthara are busy with their work and they are very concerned about their career.

International Screen Writing



The International screenwriting workshop that began on 28th May is like a dream come true says actor Kamal Haasan. In January when he talked about the desire to organize the workshop for scree wriring and getting some fresh blood into the mainstream. When the curtains go up at “INTERIOR ICSR Auditorium IIT” the dream of the man with relentless passion for Cinema comes true. Veteran French Writer Jean Claude, Balu Mahendra, Gulzar, Om Prakash are some of the prominent stalwarts will share their thoughts between May 28th and June 3rd. When Kamal speaks about Coppola who made ‘The God Father’ he and his friend R.C.Shakti would be discussing (even before the release of God Father) which Italian actor is going to play. The God Father later went on to influence two of Kamal films Nayakan and Thevar Magan. Few people knew Thevar Magar was born out of The God Father.

Kamal is dedicating the Seminar to his old friend Ananthu who first introduced him to Cinema. All the speakers belong to different schools of cinema. Kamal confirmed that he even learnt from younger ones. Some of them he considers mentors K.Balachandar has written and produced 100 different films. Americans and the Europeans may not at all agree with each other. But it is important to present one way to write a script with different perspectives.
