It was a proud day for over 600 graduands of Olympia College, Raffles Education Group recently as they were bestowed awards in various disciplines by guest-of-honour Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat.



The occasion also saw nine graduates receiving prestigious awards named in honour of Malaysia’s founding fathers and distinguished political figures.



The recipient of the Nottingham Trent University Vice-Chancellor’s Award was See Tho Wai Keng, 36, who had pursued the MBA programme on a part-time basis.

After the treatment, I theroughly wash it out of my hair and continue with the color, my hair is naturally dark, think and long so i grab two boxes of color, and the 4 oz bottle of developer, which i add all of both into an applicator bottle (you may want to use the creme color if your utilizing a mixing bowel- i use an applicator bottle because i'm better able to determine where the color is going)

i normally let it sit for about 20-30 mins, but depending on how much is left in my hair from a previous application i wait 10-20 mins.

I often find myself thinking of what’s actually good about winter besides the holidays. I mean other than that, winter is just one big season of too much snow, too much cold, and too little daylight. *smh*
Black hair that’s already dry enough to begin with can take a serious beating during the winter. It’s important to treat our hair like the delicate flower that it is. Here’s three quick ways to do just that…

1. Beware of wool and other moisture-snatching fabrics. All the things that keep us warm like wool coats and heavy scarves can rub against our hair and cause it to break. The fix? You can protect the hair with a silk or satin scarf that lines the inside of a wool hat or acts as a barrier when used as a layering piece with your wool coat or scarf. It’s also important to use a silk or satin scarf and/or pillowcase to protect your hair at night.

2. Limit your usage of heat. We know excessive heat can wreck havoc on our tresses so continue to limit or even avoid using it especially during the colder months. Try wet wrapping your hair after you wash and deep condition. Dab a little Moroccanoil Treatment in your hair to help speed the drying process. I like a wet wrap because when the hair is dry (best time to do this is before you go to bed at night so your hair is dry in the morning) it takes very little to style it. You can run a quick flat iron or curling iron through it if need be.
For natural hair, try “setting” the hair in braids or twists.

3. Moisture and seal. Moisture is important to our hair year-round but it’s essentially important during the winter. Alternate between a deep conditioning treatment like Phytospecific Multi-Regenerating Creme Bath (Vital Force Creme Bath) or Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask and light protein treatments like Aphogee Two Minute Reconstructor. How often you alternate will depend on the condition of your hair (if it feels hard and brittle when wet, deep condition; if it feels gummy when wet, protein). Every six weeks or so try a deeper protein treatment like Aphogee Two-Step Protein Treatment.
In addition to your conditioners, it’s imperative to use a good daily moisturizer and then seal with a natural oil (unrefined coconut oil is a fave). To do simply divide the hair into workable sections and work in your moisturizer paying special attention to the ends. Then take a pea sized amount of your oil and work it into the hair. Careful not to use too much oil to avoid overly oily strands.

Another BLESSED Christmas...

God blessed me to enjoy another Christmas with my family and although funds were low this year, the LOVE, APPRECIATION, and FUN TIMES weren't. right now i'm watching my brother kick a$$ in COD: Black Ops, and the day before we spent pretty much the entire day, playing GTA 4 and Godfather II. It's the small things like this that make maybe making a minimum payment on a bill instead of making a larger payment, sidestepping buying myself a new coat when i have 3 perfectly good ones in my closet worth it.

I did have a few things i wanted to get off my chest in reference to a few situations that took placed over the holiday weekend, BUT i'll be the bigger person, and PRAY. You do know prayer changes things right? well that's what i'll do. keep it positive ya know?

i wish you all a very merry Christmas. there's going to be alot of giving and recieving, but recognize which one means more. i've come to realize that this holiday can bring out the worse in ppl, but that's no reason to walk around being selfish or mad at the world. there's a time and place for everything. and while i try to leave everyone with a word of encouragement or a positive note- there's always SOMEONE who has to stay on "grinch" mode......and that's why me and that person and ppl like them are no longer friends. i don't have time for it.

so ladies and gentlemen, if i can leave you with nothing else, i leave you with this.

not everyone will be thankful for the gift of life as we celebrate Christmas, the birth of our lord. some people will find ANY and EVERYTHING to be upset about, walk around with an attitude or complain about how much they hate the holidays etc. which is fine....but as for me, and my house, i shall remain thankful,POSITIVE..and praising god for what he's done, what he's doing, and what he's gonna do for me and my family.

We all experience lows in life — sickness, divorce or the death of a loved one. You might endure difficult times and then worry sets in. It’s human to worry, but don’t let worry erode you so much that you lose faith. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” It’s the ingredient, or “stuff,” that keeps you from falling apart.

Are the authorities waiting for more lives lost to act?

It is so very, very sad that I have to speak up again on road safety matters after another tragedy that claimed numerous lives. I am referring to the double-deck tour bus crash on Cameron Highlands on Monday (Dec 20, 2010) which claimed 27 lives.



On Oct 31, 2010, I highlighted in my blog news asking what has happened to the implementation of speed limiter installation for long-haul express buses that I spearheaded last year when I was transport minister.



Is it because the idea was hatched by me, that the present minister Dato' Seri Kong Cho Ha has refused to act and implement ? If so, this is really tragic and Kong must be taken to task.



I had raised the matter of speed limiters after the express bus tragedy on the North-South Highway near the Simpang Ampat toll plaza on Oct 10, 2010, in which 13 people were killed.



I also stressed the need to act urgently, to stop wasting time, to stop wasting more lives. Unfortunately to those who perished on Monday, the transport minister and his ministry did not respond or clarify the matter.



Yesterday, Kong announced the cabinet had ordered an independent probe on the crash and that the Board of Inquiry would also look into the overall structure of commercial vehicle operations.



It is also a tragedy to Malaysians that the minister and ministry officials, particularly the Road Safety Department ( Jabatan Keselamatan Jalan Raya ) had remained recalcitrant, ignoring public calls to implement the speed limiter installation which could have prevented many cases of road crash.



I am also shocked why a double-deck bus was allowed to ply such a hilly terrain. It is indeed very illogical.



The proposed implementation of the speed limiters rule is a proactive measure to help reduce fatal road crashes involving such buses. The ministry is now duty bound to explain what has happened to the implementation.



Any further and unnecessary delay will cost lives, I had told reporters in Parliament in response to MPs clamouring for speed limiters to be fitted to express buses.



I was appointed the lead minister in charge of urban public transport under the National Key Result Area (NKRA) in 2009, and our top concern was fatal road accidents involving public transport.



The Road Transport Department (RTD) and the Road Safety Department were directed to study the matter and come up with workable and proactive measures to curb such rising fatal crashes.



We also decided to join the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) which brings together governments and governmental agencies, the private sector and civil society organisations to address road safety issues.



GRSP is a programme hosted by the Geneva-based International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

I then directed that the fitting of speed limiters on to express buses be introduced with advocacy.



Unfortunately, after I was dropped from the cabinet, nothing has been heard about it, despite constant reminders.

Speed limiters are more effective in tackling speedsters than just having the Global Positioning System (GPS).



The GPS can only be used to monitor the movement of vehicles and calculate the time used by the driver to complete his journey.

It does not solve the problem of speeding. So, the implementation of speed limiters is urgent. In the interest of public, I reiterate to the minister and the ministry to stop dilly-dallying on a matter that concerns the people’s lives.



The public has the right to know the status and progress of the implementation of speed limiters to help save lives.

Of course there is financial consideration of having to install the devices. But between financial consideration and public safety, it is obvious which is more important.



Why is the implementation delayed with no conspicuous action?



To those who prefer to harp on the same platitude of enhancing awareness on road safety as the most effective way to curb road crash, please do open your eyes to the reality that speedsters remain the main culprits in most cases of crash.

Pembuatan Animasi menggunakan Blender

Berikut saya tuliskan sedikit tentang tahapan dalam pembuatan objek pada BLENDER mulai dari awal .

1.    Buka program dengan klik start kemudian pilih blender

2.    Pilih menu user preferences agar kita dapat mengerjakan sesuatu pada blender setelah muncul,

3.       Pada View rotation aktifkan auto perspektif kita dapat melihat tampilan objek yang kita buat sesuai keinginan kita dengan klik kanan pada garis perpaduan menu dengan tanda arah tanda panah atas dan bawah kemudian pilih split area kemudian klik kanan pilih join area.

4.       Kita membuat objek dasar 3d yang ada pada blender dengan cara pilih menu add pilih mesh
Misalkan cube (untuk membuat objek bentuk kubus).

5.       Jika kita akan menggeser objek atau memindahkan objek pastikan pada posisi objek mode dan apabila akan mengedit objek kita pilih edit mode.

6.       Mengedit objek untuk dijadikan objek yang akan kita bentuk dengan cara klik kanan pada objek dengan cara mode objek dijadikan sebagai edit mode kemudian pilih bagian yang akan diedit.

7.       Mengedit objek untuk dijadikan objek yang akan kita bentuk dengan cara klik kanan pada objek dengan cara mode objek dijadikan sebagai edit mode kemudian pilih bagian yang akan diedit.

8.       Untuk melihat hasil yang telah kita buat kita render project kita dengan memilih menu render kemudian pilih render current frame atau ktik F12 pada keyboard.

9.       Render pada blender ini merupakan tampilan hasil kamera view sehingga agar hasil render sesuai dengan yang kita harapkan maka perlu di set posisi cameranya dengan menggeser camera sesuai posisi yang diinginkan ( ingat posisi yang akan terekam adalah yang tampil pada kotak terkecil tampilan sebelah kiri dibawah ini ).

10.   Maka tampilan render akan muncul objek terlihat penuh.

11.   Simpan projek kita dalam bentuk file .blend dengan pilih menu file klik save as beri nama file.

12.   Mengganti warna objek dengan cara pilih objek kemudian klik material button pilih color enter kemudian render kembali.

13.  Simpan hasil render pada computer dengan extensi file .jpeg atau yang lain
